Asian Games 2018 is Beneficial for Indonesia
The 2018 Asian Games, also knows as 18th Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang 2018, is a multi-sport event which held from 18th of August 2018 until 2nd of September 2018. This event take place in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. There are 45 countries that participating, and 11.720 athletes participating. There are advantages for hosting an international event such as: city/country profile will be increased due to the recognition and long term investment in the infrastructure.
When the city/country profile is increased, there maybe many tourist who will come to Indonesia to enjoy the city/country. There are many foreigners You Tubers who made a reaction videos of the Opening Ceremony of Asian Games 2018. They said that they really love the performance and many people have watched those videos and they become interested in Indonesia. Many people complimented Indonesia. They talked about how beautiful and diverse Indonesian's culture is.
Before Asian Games 2018 was held, Gelora Bung Karno is not good enough to be use, and after it was announce that the 18th Asian Games is going to be host in Indonesia, the government renovate Gelora Bung Karno immediately. Also, Jakarta become more clean, and there are murals alll over Jakarta for Asian Games.
